Health Screen (In Line Chiropractic Dr. Lindy Johnson) |
All Hit City Athletics clients are required to under go a health screen prior to the start of our health and fitness program. It is important that we obtain any and all health risks or concerns regarding our member’s physical conditions. Doctor Lindy Johnson D.C. (In-Line Chiropractic) provides and explains the diagnostics of each health screen. Our health screen consists of the following:
1. Blood Pressure
2. Basic Orthopedic/Neurological Examination
3. Resting Heart Rate
4. Thermal/EMG Scan
5. Range of motion Test

Body Composition |
Body composition is the ratio of fat vs. lean muscle mass on the human body. 27% of Americans are obese, largely due to the fact that their body compositions are out of balance. When your fat percentage exceeds 20% of your total body weight, you are considered “high-risk”. Knowing this information helps us design the proper health and fitness program for you.
In order to complete your body composition, the following tests are needed:
1. Before & After Photos
2. Body Type Analysis
3. Fat Percentage Test
4. Body Mass Index
|
Health & Fitness Evaluation |
This evaluation is a series of physical tests that measures the levels of functionality for specific areas of the body. It is essential that we learn what physical dysfunctions our members may have before they start our program. Members are tested in the following areas:
1. Pre-Exercise Heart Rate
2. During-Exercise Heart Rate
3. Post-Heart Rate
4. Heart Rate Recovery Time
5. Cardiovascular System
6. Muscle Endurance
7. Muscle Strength
8. Flexibility
9. Pain Free Range of Motion

Nutrition Program |
Our nutrition program is designed to teach our members how to have balanced and healthy eating habits rather than dieting. The modern day philosophy of dieting generally refers to eliminating calories from our diets or eliminating all fats, all sugars and all complex carbohydrates. Over the last 10-years, this theory has not only been proven incorrect, but also very detrimental. Our population now has far more diabetics, more gallbladder cancer patients and more pancreatic cancer patients as a result of taking these central nutrients out of our diets.
Our program consists of the following tools and services, which supports our premise that healthy nutrition is balanced eating and not dieting. "Diets Don't Work."
1. Metabolic Type Test
2. Caloric Assessment Tes
3. Caloric Adjustment
4. Food Journaling System
5. Nutrition Classes
6. Healthy Portion Meals
7. Weekly Progress Reports

Cardiovascular Training |
Cardiovascular training is a workout system generally referred to as aerobics. During aerobic exercise the body uses fat as energy for the majority of the time spent in activity. This system is vital to getting rid of those unwanted pounds of fat. Although most of the calorie (energy) expenditure from cardiovascular training is from fat, the initial 15-20minutes of exercise uses energy from the muscle for fuel. Technically, aerobic training does not occur until after the first 15-20 minutes. Our cardiovascular program is centered on increasing your fat burning time during each aerobic session. Regardless of your training level, our system will shape your ability to master 45-60 minutes of fating burning time during every cardiovascular session.
